Our Collective

Haki Farmers Collective is a network of six BIPOC-led farms rooted in Olympia, Washington. United by a shared mission, we work collaboratively to grow food, knowledge, and community across the South Sound region. Each farm brings its own unique strengths, cultural practices, and deep agricultural wisdom—yet we are bound together by a collective vision: to reclaim and revive traditional foodways and support Black, Indigenous, and Immigrant growers in building thriving, sovereign farm businesses.

Our farms grow more than just food—we grow opportunity, community healing, and cultural resilience. Together, we steward land using organic and traditional growing methods, prioritize culturally relevant crops, and increase access to fresh, culturally relevant staple crops for BIPOC communities across the region.

Haki is leaving our urban farm this year, but we will still be hosting community events and work parties at our 4 acre rural farm location. All community programs will now be held at this space.

Rooted in Regenerative & Organic Principles

While not all of our farmers are USDA Organic Certified, every member of the Haki Farm Collective follows organic and regenerative practices—without the use of synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or fungicides.

Prioritizing Health & Stewardship

The wellbeing of our farmers, customers, and the land is central to everything we do. We farm with ecological care, ensuring that our practices support a healthy, resilient food system.

Committed to Transparency & Equity

Many small-scale farmers in our region farm to organic standards but can't afford the high costs and administrative burden of certification. We support ongoing efforts to make organic certification more accessible and continue to farm with integrity and transparency.
